Snap to it! Willow Smith is the face of ‘Garage’ magazine’s issue Nº11, and the publication has partnered with Snapchat and Be Cool Be Nice to make Willow’s cover interactive. You won’t believe your eyes — check out the amazing photo shoot right here and WATCH a video of the cover in action!
Willow Smith is unquestionably the coolest fifteen-year-old in town, and her new photo shoot for Garage magazine reiterates this fact. Shot by police the talented photographer Phil Poynter, Willow’s cover is completely interactive — check out the video above to see what we mean!
Be Cool Be Nice (BCBN), which is part of the collaboration, is a social good campaign that aims to fight cyber bullying. “GARAGE Magazine’s collaboration with Snapchat and BCBN continues our tradition of ground-breaking partnerships that bush the boundaries of publishing and technology; fashion and social awareness; premium, luxury content and accessibility,” said the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Dasha Zhukova. Inside shots feature beautiful portraits of Willow, but in an unusual twist, the photos have Snapchat filters on them — like the cat one — that will be familiar to fans of the app.
All filters aside, Willow looks absolutely stunning on the cover. The close-up shot of her face is absolutely flawless, and her makeup is so pretty. We love her dark red lipstick in particular, and we can thank beauty genius Pat MacGrath for her direction on the shoot!
