What better way to end the 2016 Apple Conference than with a surprise performance from one of our favorite artists?! This year, it was Sia who took the stage, and she sang a gorgeous rendition of her new hit ‘The Greatest.’
After two hours of announcements and revelations from Apple at the company’s annual fall event, it was only fitting to end things with some entertainment! Apple has worked with so many artists, including Taylor Swift, 26, but it was Sia, 40, who took the stage to sing, and obviously, it was epic.

The performance was jam-packed with emotion, though, too, as the 40-year-old sang her new song, “The Greatest,” which is about the tragic shooting at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, earlier this year. In honor of the 49 victims of this horrific attack, the Sia wore a poofy, rainbow dress, which she paired with a giant pink bow.
Sia was joined on stage by a group of dancers in nude leotards, who performed a captivating number while she stood off to the side and sang. As usual, she covered her face with a black and white wig, keeping the attention solely on her voice and the artistry from her performers.
“The Greatest” was actually just released on Sept. 5, along with the music video, which features Maddie Ziegler, 13, in what might be her most breathtaking performance yet. The studio version of the song also features Kendrick Lamar, and the music video played on a big screen in the background of Apple’s conference.
Earlier during the event, the company announced a new Apple Watch, and the highly-anticipated iPhone 7, which is water resistant and includes a highly improved camera that has everyone buzzing. Get all the details about what went down at the event right here!
