Get excited, Pokemon fans! A new Pokemon Sun & Moon game is coming this fall, and Nintendo announced its epic new features on Sept. 6 — including one that’s majorly reminiscent of Pokemon Snap. Get the scoop here!
The newest version of Pokemon Sun & Moon will be released for Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 18, but in anticipation of the buzzed-about game, you can get excited about these epic new features from now until then. The one that has fans most excited seems to be the “poke finder,” which allows users to take pictures of pocket monsters, then submit them to be evaluated. The photos are then rated, and you’ll get rewarded with new photography features based on your skills.
Sound familiar? It should — the feature is very similar to fan-favorite Pokemon game, Pokemon Snap! A new version of this game hasn’t been released in the U.S. since 2007, and fans have been dying for one, so this is a pretty good compromise.
Of course, that’s not all that’s new! Another big feature is that time will be set differently in the ‘Sun’ and ‘Moon’ versions of the game, meaning that Pokemon Sun will be in the same time as the user’s Nintendo 3DS system and Pokemon Moon will be shifted 12 hours. Plus, players will see different Pokemon based on which game they have, because different creatures appear during the day and night.
Three new Pokemon, Null, Jangmo-o and Alolan Raticate, were also announced, along with characters Lusamine, Faba and Wicke, who live on artificial island called Aether Paradise and care for Pokemon who are hurt. Get ready, gamers, this is going to be a good one!
HollywoodLifers, are you excited about the new Pokemon Sun & Moon features? Will you be getting a version of the game when it drops in November?
