Josh Murray and Amanda appeared to be stronger than ever on the ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ after show on Sept. 6, but maybe things aren’t as smooth as they appear. The couple reportedly have split up multiple times since the finale and are having a hard time adjusting to a ‘real world’ relationship.
“Josh and Amanda are still engaged, but it’s been a tough road. They have broken up a couple times since getting home and have had a rough start to their relationship,” a source told ETOnline. Apparently the distance was one issue — she was living in Irvine, California and he was in Atlanta, Georgia; they’ve now moved in together.
“The other [issue] was added pressures like dating in the ‘real world,'” the source said. “Amanda has two little girls and of course that is going to add a different kind of pressure to a new relationship.” Josh, 32, does not have any children.
Update: HollywoodLife.com spoke to Josh Murray who denied there was any truth to this.
However, the two revealed recently in an interview they are really happy and her daughters — Kinsley, 4, and Charlie, 2, love him — and his dog, Sabel.
“He’s told me that he has wanted a family since he was 21,” the 26-year-old told Us magazine. “He has all of the qualities that would make him a great stepdad. He wakes up every morning with me to drop the girls off at school, picks them up with me every single day.”
Josh also added that he was “in love with the kids,” something you could tell on After Paradise, when he lit up speaking about them. “I’ve always wanted a big family. I’m very lucky to be a part of their lives.” The pair said it is “a little hectic,” but fun; plus they want more kids someday!
Do you think the pair will last, HollywoodLifers?
