Over the course of Bachelor in Paradise, Evan got tons of hate for what fans called his “creeper” goatee. Evan knew from the very beginning that people were not OK with his facial hair, and after much thought, he decided to have it shaved off on After Paradise!
Carly got to do the honors and shave off Evan’s goatee. Fans got a look at Evan’s facial hair makeover when hosts Michelle Collins and Sean Lowe brought out all the engaged couples at the end of the show. Carly didn’t shave it all off, but she gets an A for effort.
Evan and Carly, whose new couple name is officially Evanly, were one of the couples to get engaged on the Bachelor in Paradise finale. Despite a rocky beginning, Evan and Carly fell in love. Evan popped the question on the finale in one romantic proposal. And they were really in love.
“I’ve never had a guy look at me that way before. He gives me butterflies,” Carly told Glamour the day before Evan proposed. She revealed that it was definitely “the hospital date” that drew her in. “He had two infections, actually. There were no cameras, and it felt like I was dating in normal life,” she said. “We started getting this connection, and I remember sitting in the car on the way back and thinking, ‘I really want to hold his hand. What?’ And then, ‘Oh my gosh, I think I really like him. What?!'”
Well that is adorable. She also called their relationship “a roller coaster,” and even though “it started out where I broke up with him like five times.” Well regardless, we love that they’re together and living together. HollywoodLifers, are you shocked they live together? Let us know!
