Not fair! Sylvester Stallone’s holiday weekend was totally ruined because of the false reports about his death. HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE details why the ‘Rocky’ star was most upset to hear about that ‘silly’ death hoax.
Sylvester Stallone, 70, has been doing some major damage control ever since fake reports of his untimely passing circled the web. On top of that, he had to deal personally with all the unfortunate drama during his holiday weekend. “Sly’s Labor Day was ruined by this silly death hoax,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He’s maintaining a good sense of humor about it, but it has been impossible for him to relax with family cause his phone is ringing off the hook. He knows everyone in Hollywood and celebrity friends and family are all calling to make sure he is OK.” Aww. Well, clearly he’s loved!

Luckily, some of Sylvester’s friends and family members realized the Sept. 1 report, allegedly from CNN, was just another celebrity death hoax. But of course, that’s not going to stop people from double-checking. “Most of those close to him knew the story was false but that hasn’t stopped anyone from teasing him with text messages and emails all weekend,” another source tells us EXCLUSIVELY. “Sly hasn’t had a moment to himself since the story broke. All of his energy has been spent cleaning up the false report.” That doesn’t sound like fun!
The original ‘breaking news’ article said the Oscar-winning star was found at his home in Los Angeles. It even showed fake images of Sylvester being rolled away in a body bag. Although the beloved action hero has yet to publicly comment on the matter, it soon became obvious that he’s still alive and well! Thank goodness for that! On Sept. 2, he posted a cute Instagram photo with his daughter, Sophia Stallone, noting that they were at a “wonderful, quiet dinner.” But, the final confirmation came was when he was spotted in Beverly Hills on Sept. 3, looking fit as a fiddle! We’re so glad to see he’s doing well.
