So much for water under the bridge. One of the biggest Twitter feuds ever, Chloe Grace Moretz V. Kim Kardashian, was reigniting over Labor Day weekend when the actress explained she didn’t regret it — but regretting giving her attention. Yikes!
“I think I gave my attention to people who don’t deserve my attention,” Chloe Moretz told The Hollywood Reporter at the Deauville Film Festival, where she received the Rising Star Award. “So, in some ways I think I regret giving them the attention, [though] I don’t regret what I said.”
Of course, the 19-year-old actress was referring to Kim Kardashian, who she got into a public Twitter feud with after calling her out for posing naked online. “I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies,” Chloe tweeted at Kim. Naturally, she fired back right away, writing “Let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is.” Naturally, Kim’s sisters also chimed in, but eventually the feud fizzed out.
Well, it looks like Chloe is trying to take the higher road now, focusing on Hillary Clinton‘s race.
“But also, I realized that being the most opinionated and loud person in the room is not always the most impactful. I learned that from Hillary,” Chloe told THR.. “‘It’s great to be feisty,’ those were her exact words,. But sometimes the smartest way to get into the psyche of people is to be the quietest person in the room. Let everyone else bicker and throw their words around and then you come in with the quiet voice and that will be the most impactful.”
