Alert the Beyhive! Beyoncé has been forced to postpone her high-selling ‘Formation’ Tour after being put on ‘vocal rest’ by her doctor on Sept. 5! So, is she okay!? We’ve got all the details on the singer’s condition and what to expect, right here.
OMG. Our hearts nearly skipped a beat when we discovered that Beyoncé, 35, postponed her Formation Tour. Shortly after her birthday celebrations, a statement was released by MetLife Stadium, letting fans know that Bey is being forced to take a break. It read, “As a result of strict doctor’s orders for vocal rest, Beyoncé’s New York city area Formation World Tour date on Wednesday, Sept. 7 has been postponed until Friday, Oct. 7.” Phew! We’re relieved to see that her health is being treated as a top priority! It’s also great to know that she’ll be gracing fans with her presence at a later date.
The statement concluded with, “Live Nation and Parkwood Entertainment apologize for any inconvenience.” Luckily, Beyoncé is still expected to take the stage in St. Louis next month, for her planned show at the city’s The Dome at America’s Center. Her highly anticipated tour will also continue on to other cities including Los Angeles, Houston, New Orleans, and Philadelphia. Thank goodness! The music icon is known for putting on a “***Flawless” performance, so we’re sure a little rest and relaxation will definitely help with her vocal strain.
It’s been a busy time for Beyoncé, who recently celebrated her 35th birthday on Sept. 4, on top of venturing to Maryland with her darling daughter Blue Ivy over Labor Day weekend. In addition to that, our girl brought the heat at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 28, putting on show that fans will likely never forget. The way she belted out the lyrics to her hit songs proved she gives fans her ALL (not that we needed any confirmation). We just have to commend her for always going the extra mile — as it shows! Feel better Bey!
