Are you ready for ‘The Walking Dead’ to return? Here’s everything you need to know about the sure-to-be epic season 7 premiere, including it’s air date!
The countdown is on for The Walking Dead season seven premiere, which is scheduled for October 23, 2016. The show will return at 9pm on AMC, followed by a brand new episode of Talking Dead which will be live!
Greg Nicotero has already confirmed that fans will find out who died when the premiere airs, which is really good news for fans who felt ripped off by the season six finale cliffhanger. Why, you ask? Well, because it means that we will not have to wait long to find out who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) smashes into bits. Unlike the did-he-or-didn’t-he of Glenn’s (Steven Yeun) death in the first half of season six, fans will have an answer to their biggest question by the time the season seven premiere is finished airing. Phew!
Some other things we know about season seven are that we are finally going to meet King Ezekiel, ruler of The Kingdom. The Kingdom is a community of survivors living both inside and outside of an abandoned school — and also likely where Carol (Melissa McBride) was taken at the end of season six. Ezekiel’s Kingdom is pretty cool, but it’s his pet tiger that totally steals the show.
The trailer for season seven also revealed that we will finally find out what is going on with Tara. She disappeared around mid-season in TWD‘s sixth, long before her girlfriend Denise was killed by Dwight, and we didn’t hear a peep from her the whole time she was gone. However, the trailer shows Tara hiding in the woods and even using her gun to smash someone’s face in — but who? Hmm!
