Chris Harrison is all about Nick Viall! ‘The Bachelor’ host spoke on ‘Good Morning America’ about the surprising choice for the next Bachelor. Chris said that Nick deserves this opportunity more than anyone and he’s more than ready to find love again.
The wait is over. We finally know who are new Bachelor is! In a shocking twist, Nick, 35, was chosen as the guy over fan favorites Luke Pell, 31, and Chase McNary, 27, from JoJo Fletcher’s season. Chris, who serves as a producer on The Bachelor, revealed the exact reasons why Nick was chosen on the Aug. 31 edition of Good Morning America.
“It just got down to the final question: Who is the most deserving? Who is the most sincere? Luke and Chase were good guys, but we all just kept coming back to Nick,” Chris said on GMA.

When asked if he thinks if Nick can really find love again, Chris said, “I do. The good news is, it’s worked for him.” Nick fell hard for both Andi Dorfman, 29, and Kaitlyn Bristowe, 31, but they ultimately chose other guys over him. “He will give himself to this process,” Chris continued.
Nick’s a runner-up no longer! Chris admitted that “being the guy will definitely help” Nick with finding his soulmate. At least now Nick is calling the shots!
The decision has caused some backlash among Bachelor Nation fans, but Chris isn’t surprised. “It just shows how much people love and care about this show,” he said. “You can’t please everybody all the time.”
Season 21 of The Bachelor will premiere in Jan. 2017. Nick is still on Bachelor in Paradise, the finale is Sept. 5 and Sept. 6, but it’s obvious now that he doesn’t find love in the end! Talk about a spoiler!
