Nick Viall is the next Bachelor. Will third time be the charm for him? After failing at love twice on ‘The Bachelorette,’ and again on ‘Bachelor In Paradise,’ he’ll be the season 21 bachelor.
“I’m very excited; I’m more nervous,” Nick Viall said on After Paradise. Well, we are too! The two-time runner up — first on Andi Dorfman‘s season, then on Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s season, joined After Paradise on August 30 to reveal the big surprise that no one saw coming.
“I don’t know if anything really prepares you for it,” he said about the feelings he has going into the experience. “Honestly, I think I’m definitely ready for it. I’m very excited. I’ve had an interesting journey throughout this process.” Well, that’s an understatement!
Now, this will be his fourth time on the franchise — he’s still currently on Bachelor In Paradise, but of course, now we know that he doesn’t end up with Jen. However, we cannot wait to see him search for love again. “You know, it would be tough. It is not on my radar and I don’t think about that possibility at all,” Nick had previously told HollywoodLife.com about his chances of being The Bachelor — especially with Luke Pell and Chase McNary in the running.
However, while he may have been the villain on his first season, and maybe a little on his second, he definitely won over our hearts (and continues to week after week) on Bachelor in Paradise. Now, we know that this may just end up being the best season of The Bachelor ever.
Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell skyped in after the announcement to share their congrats and some advice! “There is going to be times in this that there is no right decision. There’s going to be tough moments,” Ben said. “In the end, it can really work out well, and it can be the best experience you ever had. Buckle up. Your life is about to change big time. But all for the better!”
Are you happy, HollywoodLifers? You can see Nick again on next Tuesday’s After Paradise following the finale, and then on The Bachelor starting in January 2017!
