It seems that the news that Gregg Sulkin is working with Bella Thorne less than a month after their breakup isn’t that awkward after all. At least, not to Bella, who said she was thrilled to watch her former-boyfriend ‘kill it’ in front of the camera!
Bella, 18, said she was “so happy to be executive producing” the film Drink, Slay, Love, according to an Aug. 24 post on her Instagram account. Bella’s comments came after the news broke that her ex-boyfriend, Gregg, 24, was picked to star in the movie. For some, working with an ex-lover, especially so soon after a split, might be the definition of “uncomfortable.” Not for Bella!
“Watching dailes as we speak!!!” she wrote. “@CierraRamierz and @GreggSulkin are killing at leads!!” Well, at least fans know have a better idea who Gregg is playing, as his role in the Lifetime television movie adaptation of Sarah Beth Durst’s novel wasn’t confirmed with the news of his casting.
It seems Bella wasn’t lying when she said she still had “love” and “deep respect” for Gregg when the Shake It Up star announced her breakup after one-year of dating. “Our schedules made seeing each other difficult,” Bella and Gregg said in a joint statement, “and we decided that for now, this would be best.”
This is not the most shocking turn following Bella’s breakup. She casually dropped that she was bisexual on Twitter, less than two weeks following the split. To hammer this point home, Bella then shared pictures of her passionately kissing her brother’s ex-girlfriend, Bella Pendergast, 20. Bella T. even called Bella P. her “soulmate,” though it looks like Bella P. is already seeing someone else!
It seems Bella doesn’t have time to feel awkward about working with her ex-boyfriend or that her soulmate might possibly be in love with another. She’s too busy living life. Good for her! After seeing Kristen Stewart, 26, open up about her relationship with Alicia Cargile, Bella felt inspired to be open and honest, an insider EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com. Bella believes that “who you hook up with is irrelevant when it comes to your career,” according to the source. It seems she also doesn’t mind working with an ex, as she’s excited to see Gregg “kill it” in this new flick!
What do you think about Bella not being bothered with working with Gregg, HollywoodLifers? Do you think that’s the coolest? Could you be as enthusiastic to partner up with an ex?
