Poor Leslie Jones — the actress’ personal, explicit photos, along with her license and passport, were shared with the Internet after she was hacked on Aug. 24. But Leslie has a loyal fan base, and they’ve taken to Twitter to slam her hacker for this terrible invasion of privacy.
Our hearts are literally broken for Leslie Jones. For a brief time on Aug. 24, her website was full of private photos taken straight form her cellphone or iCloud, and they included graphic, nude pictures that certainly were not meant to be seen by the world. Additionally, pictures of the comedienne’s passport and driver’s license were uploaded to the site, revealing all her personal information.
The hacked website was taken down fairly quickly, but not before enough people had seen the graphic content that was featured briefly. The consensus on Twitter is definitely #TeamLeslie, with fans rallying around the 48-year-old and sending rightfully-hateful messages to whoever did this to her. Leslie Jones will prevail. She's an interesting person, and countless completely non-interesting scumbags won't *ever* change that.

During her press tour for Ghostbusters, Leslie was targeted with major racial hate online, and she took to Twitter to admit that it had taken a toll on her. Many hateful people compared her to a gorilla in their disgusting comments, and the hacker picked up on that by sharing a video of Harambe at the very top of the hacked page.
“I’m not stupid to not know racism exists,” she tweeted in July. “And I know it will probably live on way after me. But we have to make people take responsibility.” Many of the messages were incredibly offensive, and our heart breaks for Leslie knowing that she’s still going through this.
HollywoodLifers, do you agree with these fans that it’s ridiculous Leslie was hacked? Do you think her hacker should be punished?
