He only lasted one night on ‘Bachelor in Paradise,’ before insulting every single person there (including Chris Harrison), but it won’t be the last time you see him! That’s right, Chad Johnson is making his reality TV return in October!
No, he’s not returning to The Bachelor — but the spinoff is another story. That’s right, he will appear on Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?, HollywoodLife.com has confirmed. The new show will air on Freeform on Oct. 11 and will take a look at the previous bachelor Ben Higgins‘ new life with his fiancée, Lauren Bushnell. You may remember that Chad was on After the Final Rose where Lauren and Ben were in the audience, but did they interact? The mystery remains. ET was the first to report the news.
While they have not commented in what capacity he will be on the show, we can’t help to think about the beginning of The Bachelorette when he explained to the world why he
thought knew JoJo Fletcher would fall for him:
Anyways, this will be Chad’s first appearance since After Paradise, the after show he went on to explain himself and the premiere incident where he became very violent and engaged it a lot of drunk-making-out-turned-drunk-fighting with Lace. While he has said he regrets drinking the amount he did, it is a little surprising he’s back because while he’s good for ratings, he disrespected everyone, including Chris Harrison and the staff that works on Bachelor in Paradise.
So, do you think it’s appropriate to bring him back on to the franchise? Yes, this show will air on ABC’s sister network, Freeform, but still. It’s set to shwo the challenges and successes that Lauren and Ben are going through as a couple while planning a wedding — but we have a feeling he may not be a great help.
