Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton found the ultimate way to bring a little drama to their upcoming nuptials, according to a new report: they invited their exes! Are Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert really going to see them say ‘I do’?
Well this can only go well! Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are allegedly planning their fairytale Nashville wedding, and the guest list is airtight. Only the hottest celebs have been invited to celebrate with them on their big day, including two VIPs. You see, Gwen and Blake have reserved seats of honor for their ex-spouses Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert, according to a source who spoke to Star magazine!
Now that’s a bold move! Is it any surprise that Gavin and Miranda are staying as far away as possible from seeing their exes get remarried? The Bush frontman and the country star said thanks, but no thanks, to Gwen and Blake’s invitation, according to the source. “Supposedly, Gavin politely declined,” the source said. “But Miranda stormed out of the room when she learned about the invite. This might be moving a little too fast for her.”
“A little too fast” is almost an understatement. Gwen and Blake have been dating for a little under a year, and got together shortly after getting divorced over that summer from Gavin and Miranda, respectively! It’s been a whirlwind romance, so a magical, loving wedding happening sooner, rather than later isn’t out of the question. It’s just a bit of a stinger to invite your exes to see it happen! Ouch!
When we say that the guest list is tight, we mean it! “It’s going to be a very exclusive event because Gwen and Blake are being incredibly selective. Gwen’s sons will be part of the ceremony, of course, but only close friends are being invited, like Adam Levine, country singer Luke Bryan, Jessica Alba, James Corden and Ellen DeGeneres,” the source told Star. Sounds like a party!
