Teen Mom 3‘s Mackenzie Douthit McKee, 21, and her husband Josh McKee, have welcomed their baby boy into the world — little Broncs Weston, who was born on Aug. 15! But the cutie, who arrived about a month early, has needed a little extra attention and care. Apparently, Mackenzie even had to undergo a C section in order to deliver Broncs safely!

“Prayer alert: Mackenzie is having a c section n a few minutes,” Mackenzie’s mom, Angie Douthit, posted to Facebook on Aug. 15 — . “She is type 1 diabetic and the babies heart rate is high. He will be in the NICU for a while even though he weighs over 9 pounds, (according to ultrasound). Mic is very nervous and scared. Please pray.”

Just one hour after that status, Broncs’ grandma shared another with her followers: “He’s here!!! 10 pounds 1 ounce. I haven’t seen him yet, but they r ok for now! Praise God!” Looks like Mackenzie’s delivery went as smooth as possible and we are so happy she successfully delivered her son! However, baby Broncs is unfortunately not completely out of the woods yet.
“Baby is in NICU with a navel IV and a tube for breathing. He’ll be there for a few days. Please keep praying,” Angie posted that same day. Our hearts go out to Mackenzie and Josh’s family as they wait to take their newborn home. Little Broncs joins big brother Gannon, who’s almost 5, and big sister Jaxie, 2.
Back in April, Mackenzie announced that she and Josh were going to have a baby boy, and later shared a sweet gender reveal video in which she and Josh tell the kids they’d be having a little brother — how sweet is that? We are so happy for this newly expanded fam!
