OMG! Sofia Richie and Justin Bieber are Instagram official! The model recently shared a blissful PDA photo of the two in Japan, alongside a double-heart emoji. Get the latest details on the inseparable duo, here!
The Justin Bieber, 22, and Sofia Richie, 17, saga continues! The model took to Instagram on Aug. 14, finally making their relationship social media official by sharing a sweet photo of them embracing. In the snap, Justin and Sofia can be seen huddled close, clad in casual designer threads for their pretty outdoor stop. She paired the photo with a double-heart emoji caption, proving these two are sticking together. This big news comes very shortly after the Biebs defended his closeness with Sofia to his nay-saying fans.
Sofia and Justin have been two peas in a pod since Aug. 8, where they were first spotted taking a walk in Laguna Beach. Since then, we’ve seen them spend every possible minute together, whether it’s taking a hike in Hollywood or jet-setting off to Tokyo. While he’s obviously been having a blast, not everyone is taking kindly to his new friendship. Many Beliebers have been blasting Sofia, saying hateful things about her to the point where Justin stepped in. On Aug. 13, the “Cold Water” singer even threatened to make his Instagram private if the bullying didn’t stop.
Things took a whole different turn when Selena Gomez, 24, surprisingly made a public comment on his newfound relationship. Underneath one of the photos of Sofia and Justin, she wrote: “If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol -it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you and supported you before any one ever did.” She’s got a point. Justin later defended his stance, saying he won’t tolerate hate, but still “loves” his Beliebers. We’ll have to wait to see what happens next, but it looks like Sofia is letting it be known that she’s got Justin’s back.
