Kate Upton, 24, has got some serious gym skills. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and the face of Bobbi Brown cosmetics is not afraid to ditch the hair and makeup for a sweat sesh that would have us passed out on the floor.
Training with Ben Bruno, Kate frequently shares clips of her workouts on her Instagram, showing that her bikini body is all thanks to a lot of heavy lifting. Working in the gym five times a week for sessions that run anywhere from one to two hours, Ben told E! News that the model is one of his hardest working clients.
“We do cardio, just not in the traditional sense,” he told the site. “We do strength based circuit training. It’s all weights,” he went on to explain. “We are doing weights and we are focusing on getting stronger.” And as you can see from the video below, Kate is definitely strong.
Ben also stressed that it’s about eating right, too, something that Kate has been very disciplined about. Though she splurges every once in awhile, Ben told E! News that she usually sticks to healthy meals like her favorites, turkey meatballs and salad with chicken. “There is no magic in the program we do or really any program it’s just really consistency,” he said. “It’s hard work. It’s focusing on your performance in the gym, focusing on actually getting stronger and being disciplined in your eating.”
