Vin Diesel took to Instagram on Aug. 10 to share a cryptic video with his fans, where he promised to “tell us everything” about his feud with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Is he planning to diss The Rock, or is this family getting back together? Watch it here!
It’s safe to say that Vin, 49, is a man of little words, just like his character, Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise. After wrapping up his final day of filming for the eight installment of the Fast series, he took to Instagram to share a brief message. “So much has gone in this year. I can’t believe I wrapped two back to back pictures I both starred in and produced,” Vin wrote in the caption. “Now I get to return to my family, my life… To me.”
Vin started the clip on a light-hearted note, talking about his daughter. “After being on set since literally Christmas to finally, finally finally to come home and to learn that your little angel learned a new word,” he said in the insta-video. “I’m gonna have to share it with you, it’s more important than anything. Her new word kind of describes my spirit and my soul and most people who stay positive. The new word is ‘happy’.”
“When I heard her say happy I just lit up in ways I can’t even describe,” he said, grinning. But then in the middle of his story, Vin leaned into the camera and whispered, “I will tell you everything,” with an extra emphasis on “everything.” He concluded the video with a great, big smile.
Whoa! We’re not exactly sure what Vin’s version of “everything” entails, but The Rock, 44, already spilled a lot of details about what’s been going on at the Fast 8 set. Vin’s message comes only a couple of days after The Rock blasted his male co-stars, saying that most of them were unprofessional and candy a**es. Yikes! Vin and Dwayne tried to make up in a secret meeting away from the action set, but that didn’t seem to work, as Vin reportedly stormed out after a speech he made to the entire cast saying, “daddy’s gone.” That’s pretty intense!
But now that Vin has had some time to cool down, it looks like he’s ready to tell all. Vin and the rest of the Fast cast members have always prided themselves on how much of a family they are on and off set, especially after the tragic death of Paul Walker. So hopefully Vin can take some of the happiness he learned from his daughter and bring it back to his Fast family soon.
