Uh oh. Tyga better enjoy every moment he has with Kylie Jenner in Turks & Caicos because upon his return to the USA, he faces arrest for missing a court hearing. There’s currently a warrant for his arrest, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection told us he could very easily be ‘detained’ once he comes home.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection told HollywoodLife.com, “Due to the restrictions of the Privacy Act, U.S. Customs and Border Protection cannot discuss individual travelers; however, all international travelers arriving in the U.S. are subject to CBP inspection. CBP is alerted when an inbound passenger has a warrant for their arrest issued. CBP would detain the individual upon their return to the U.S. and notify the jurisdiction that issued the warrant. CBP honors arrests warrants from any federal, state, and local law enforcement agency for individuals encountered during the inspection process.”
This means that Tyga could very well face arrest upon his return to the U.S.A. with Kylie Jenner.
As HollywoodLife.com previously told you, a judge ordered a warrant for Tyga’s arrest on Aug. 9, after the “Rack City” rapper failed to show up to a court hearing. Tyga’s ex-landlord accused him of falling WAY behind on his rent, and Tyga never showed up to deal with his charges. That wasn’t very smart of him, if you ask us.
Boris Treyzon, the attorney who’s representing Tyga’s former landlord, Gholamreza Rezai, told PEOPLE that Tyga’s going to face some major consequences. “[Aug. 9] was his day to [appear in court] and he didn’t show up,” Boris said. “We requested the court to issue a bench warrant. The court agreed with us that his actions have been not what society demands of him, so they issued a bench warrant. Now, if he comes in contact with law enforcement, they will likely detain him and keep him detained until he posts bond.”
