Okay, it seems like it’s safe to say that the feud between Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen is officially OVER! Both stars addressed the drama that broke out between them after the release of ‘Knocked Up,’ and these days, they have nothing bad to say about each other.
Katherine Heigl, 37, and Seth Rogen, 38, haven’t exactly seen eye-to-eye ever since she publicly called their film Knocked Up “sexist” in a Vanity Fair interview years ago. But this week, the actor revealed that he harbored no ill-will toward his former co-star, and she gushed about him in response.
“I think that he’s handled that so beautifully and I just feel nothing but love and respect,” Katherine told reporters at her CBS TCA appearance. “It’s so long ago at this point. I just wish him so much goodness — and I felt that from him, too.”
She’s referring to Seth’s Howard Stern interview, in which he definitely did exude goodness. “I thought, ‘Oh, we have a great dynamic. We were funny together. I was having a very good time,'” Seth explained on the radio show. “And then I heard afterwards she didn’t like it — she didn’t seem to like the process or the end product either — and your trust feels betrayed. I respect the fact that maybe she realizes it has hurt her career and I don’t want that to have happened to her at all because I’ve said a thousand stupid things and I really like her.”
He continued, “The only people in this situation who should, in any way, take anything from it is me and Judd [Apatow] because we’re the ones she was talking about. And for other people to not work with her because she didn’t like her experience with us, I think is crazy.”
Seth and Katherine totally did have a great dynamic in Knocked Up, so now that the feud is squashed…maybe they can work together again!?
HollywoodLifers, are you happy that Seth and Katherine’s feud seems to be over? Do you think they should work together again?
