It’s clap back season! Kim Kardashian just released a new video on her blog, and in it she explains a little bit about why she decided to release the videos of Taylor Swift and Kanye West on Snapchat. Click inside to watch!
With some help from her BFF, Jonathan Cheban, 42, the most famous Kardashian gave a little insight into her “clap back” habits in a new blog post and video on KimKardashianWest.com. In the video Kim, 35, doesn’t name any names — ahem, Taylor Swift — but does go into detail about what causes her to speak out against the haters.
“When I feel like someone’s being fake is the time that I’ll say something. And it’s usually really publicly,” Kim explained to Jonathan in the video posted on KimKardashianWest.com. “I personally take the high road most of the time. I just don’t care. I always think: ‘Will I be affected by it in a week? Will I be affected in a month, or in a year?’ And the answer is usually no.”
Now if you translate that and relate it to her and Kanye West‘s ongoing feud with Taylor, it feels like Kim is really explaining what got under her skin enough to make her go after Taylor. She also added that someone should only “clap back” at someone if it’s going to make them feel better about the situation — which it obviously did for Kim in regards to Taylor.
“My tip on clapping back is just do whatever makes you feel good. Like, if you feel like talking shit to someone, go for it,” Kim further explained, to which her BFF totally agreed. Oh and don’t worry, the video on her blog explains the definition of “clap back” for those of you who seem a bit confused!
