Is there anything Beyonce can’t do? No. No, there is not. While on the European leg of her Formation World Tour, Bey gave her Barcelona, Spain audience an amazing surprise when she sang ‘Irreplaceable’ — AKA ‘Irreemplazable’ — in Spanish. WATCH the Queen do her thing right here!
Yep, Beyonce, 34, sang her hit “Irreplaceable” in Spanish — live — and it was as flawless as you’d imagine. The crowd in Barcelona went absolutely nuts, and even accompanied the singer by three lines in, singing along to the explosive hook and earning an impressed nod from Bey. She looked incredible in a custom black sequined corset as she thrilled the audience with her special tribute to their country! While she didn’t perform the entire song, Bey’s Spanish performance bowled us over nonetheless. WATCH a video of Bey singing her heart out above!
Bey actually released “Irreemplazable” along with its own music video in 2007 — you can check it out here! The track was originally a bonus song on her B Day album, but it was such a global hit that she put it on its own self-titled EP. The record included eight tracks, all sung in Spanish — including “Beautiful Liar” with Shakira. We’re so thrilled that Bey strayed from her typical setlist and brought back such an oldie at her Barcelona show!
Fans were super excited about Bey’s treat, and many took to social media to gush over her performance. “Beyoncé singing irreplaceable in Spanish in Barcelona is so cool…she is magic,” user EriLynnWilliams tweeted. “Stop and recognize that @Beyonce is iconic, legendary, irreplaceable and can never be replicated. The Michael Jackson of my generation,” @ChicInChocolate agreed. That’s some high praise…that we support!
