What an epic way to get pumped for the Olympics! Fifth Harmony showed their support for the Women’s Gymnastics team in an inspiring new music video for their song ‘That’s My Girl.’ Watch the vid right here!
Fifth Harmony is all about girl power, and their latest music video certainly proves that! Camila Cabello, Dinah-Jane Hansen, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, and Normani Hamilton paid tribute to Gabby Douglas, Simone Biles, Madison Kocian, Aly Raisman, and Laurie Hernandez (aka the US Women’s Gymnastics Team) just one day before the opening of the 2016 Rio Olympics with the ultimate female empowerment jam, “That’s My Girl.” We couldn’t think of a better way to cheer the team on!
Appropriately dressed in red, white, and blue outfits, the 5H girls belt out their track as clips of the gymnastics team play. With lyrics like “Destiny said it, you got to get up and get it/Get mad independent and don’t you ever forget it,” Fifth Harmony’s song is the perfect soundtrack to the epic shots of the team doing their thing on the mats and bars. It’s hard to not get chills watching this!

Just like the video shows, the gymnastics girls are ready to dominate at this year’s Summer Olympics. Since qualifying for Rio in the trials on July 11, Simone, Gabby, Laurie, Madison, and Aly have been working hard in hopes of bringing home the gold for Team USA. With the Opening Ceremonies around the corner, the girls are in Rio practicing their hearts out — but having some fun in between! Simone has been sharing their team adventures on Instagram including an awesome picture with the Olympic rings!
The excitement happens for Team USA on Tuesday, Aug. 9, with the action kicking off at 3 pm ET. Considering the girls’ gymnastics team won the gold at the 2012 London Olympics, there’s a lot at stake for this year’s crew — but with the help of Fifth Harmony’s song and vid, we’re thinking these girls will be more than ready to defend the title!
