Michelle Obama absolutely slayed Carpool Karaoke on ‘The Late Late Show.’ Are Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump next to take a ride? HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE scoop that James Corden wants both presidential candidates to hop in the car with him!
“Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have been asked to do Carpool Karaoke for the show,” a source close to The Late Late Show EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. After First Lady Michelle Obama, 52, brought Carpool Karaoke to the next level, James Corden, 37, clearly needs to go bigger. What could be bigger than the having the next President of the United States sing?
James and his staff want to have the Democratic and Republican candidates appearances “done before the election,” the source tells HollywoodLife.com. That only gives The Late Late Show just a few months before America goes to the polls on Nov. 8. Will Hillary, 68, or Donald, 70, hitch a ride with James before then? It might just happen! “Neither candidate has confirmed but everyone involved is very interested,” the source adds. Fingers crossed!
Wow. What songs would Donald and Hillary sing? Well, in the case of the ex-Celebrity Apprentice star, it’s a case of what songs Donald won’t be allowed to sing. The Trump campaign has a long history of using music from artists without securing permission.
Everyone from Neil Young, 70, to Adele, 28, to R.E.M. and Queen have blasted Donald for using their music without asking first. If Trump rides along with James, don’t expect him to break out a version of “Hello,” or “Rockin’ In The Free World.’
Though, it’s going to be hard for either candidate to top Michelle’s appearance. When “Single Ladies” by Beyonce, 34, came on, the First Lady was on beat with every single move. Plus, in came Missy Elliot, 45, out of nowhere, to join Michelle on a version of “Get Your Freak On.” It was epic in every sense of the word. If and when Hillary or Donald buckle their seatbelts with James, they better bring it.
