Kris, 60, was involved in a nasty car accident August 3. Her white Rolls-Royce crashed when a Prius ran a red light and cut in front of her trying to get onto the highway near her Hidden Hills home. Caitlyn, 66, was beyond horrified by the entire ordeal! “Cait was a nervous wreck, fidgeting uncontrollably after learning Kris was in a nasty accident. She feared the worst,” a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. “Cait was calling Kris‘ cell but obviously there was no answer, and she finally got through to Kylie, 18, who calmed her down and told her everything would be all right.” SO chilling!

Cait’s had her fair share of frightening experiences on the road so we can’t even imagine how she felt. Not to mention, the I Am Cait star is “super sensitive when it comes to car crashes and doesn’t know what she‘d do if she‘d lost the mother of her two youngest,” the source told us.

It’s totally understandable that Cait would be so upset since their entire family is super close! The unfortunate event even caused fans to wonder if any other members of the famous clan were involved in the crash. Kylie took to Twitter to clear up any speculation she was in the car at the time of the crash.

We’re just glad Kris is ok, and Kylie also revealed that her mom was alright following the accident. Phew! It’s great to see Kris’ family rally around her during such an alarming time.
