This is just absolutely devastating. When Seattle house party shooter Allen Ivanov allegedly opened fire he had an objective to murder his ex-girlfriend, Anna Bui because he was distraught about their breakup, according to a new report. He also killed friends Jordan Ebner and Jake Long. Read the heartbreaking details here.
Allen, 19, is currently in custody, for the alleged slaying of three students during a gathering in Mukilteo, Washington. Alexis Gemmer, 18, was a witness to the atrocity and she gave her account first hand on seeing her friends brutally gunned down. To save herself, she revealed she hid in a closet, called her grandmother and waited till the police arrived on the scene at the home on the Chennault Beach waterfront.
“She kept saying, ‘They’re dead, they’re dead, I was right there and I saw them’, Alexis’ grandma Susan Gemmer told the Seattle Times about her daughter’s awful experience.
But the motives for Allen’s actions have now become clearer. One of the identified victims was Anna, who was said to have broken up with the killer in the last month or so. He is said to have been distraught over his breakup, after claiming that he had, in fact, dumped her and also had a jealous side and felt like he had “something to prove,” another source told the MailOnline.
Other friends that knew the pair insist that they only knew that Allen and Anna had broken up last week and he was still cut up about it. It’s left devastated students wondering how on earth this terrible tragedy could’ve been prevented.
“If he had talked to a psychiatrist or something before, maybe it would have prevented this,” a friend told the MailOnline. “My friends and I were talking, how can he easily get this AR-15? He had no criminal history, but he definitely had some psychological issues.” The friend added, “We didn’t think gun control was that important until now. We didn’t realize how easy it was for a friend to get a gun and kill somebody.”
