Rosario Dawson apparently doesn’t want Hillary Clinton to run our country! The actress totally slammed Hillary for not being a good leader in the beginning of the Democratic National Convention on July 25. Watch a video of her speech here!
Before Bernie Sanders, 74, gave his speech at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, actress Rosario Dawson, 37, took the podium to address the fact that Hillary Clinton, 68, is seemingly going to be the party’s presidential nominee. But instead of showing her support for Hillary, Rosario completely ripped on Hillary in the process!
“The issues that we’re getting traction on are the ones that have the most organization behind them. Because please do understand, especially in regards to someone like Hillary Clinton, who I’ve said before and I stand by it, is not a leader, she’s a follower,” Rosario asserted. The actress continued, “She follows public opinion on things, so if we stay strong on universal healthcare, if we stay strong on the fight for fifteen, if we stay strong on all of these things… our revolution is dependent on your time, your energy, your blood, sweat and tears, your persistence, your commitment, your dynamism, you and us, making we together.”
Adding to her declaration, Rosario asked her fellow Bernie supporters to make sure that Hillary is “held accountable” for the promises she has made throughout her campaign. Clearly she’s going to hold a careful watch over Hillary!
Rosario has made her stance on Hillary very clear throughout Bernie’s entire campaign, never budging on the fact that Hillary shouldn’t become president. She even called out the Democratic National Committee for fixing the race so that Hillary will win the nomination spot over Bernie — something that was proven in the shocking DNC email leak just before the convention! Maybe her “not a leader” diss isn’t so far fetched after all?
No matter how Rosario feels about Hillary, the nomination will come down to the delegates vote. It’s already looking like Hillary is the official nominee (and Bernie has called on his supporters to vote for her to defeat Trump), but that will all be determined this week. Once the nomination is set, we’re thinking Rosario won’t be staying quiet for long!
