The ‘Game of Thrones’ cast hit up Comic-Con on July 22 and spilled some scoop on their hopes for season 7, fan theories and more! Sophie Turner doesn’t Jon Snow is fit to rule — could a feud be brewing? Here’s everything we learned at the show’s panel!
*Sophie Turner doesn’t think Jon Snow is the best leader for the North.
“I don’t think she believes Jon is capable of running Winterfell and the North; she doesn’t think he has the intellect, the knowledge, the experience that she has, and I concur,” she said at the panel, according to our sister site Variety. “He has wonderful morals, those Stark morals, [so she thinks] that inevitably he’ll make the good decision, but whether it’s going to benefit anyone is another story.”
Sophie also made a point to say that she thinks Jon Snow and Sansa should be “King and Queen of the North,” but she doesn’t necessarily want Sansa to be on the Iron Throne.
*Producers aren’t exactly denying the Arya/Waif theory.
When asked about the theory that Arya and The Waif are the same person, the producers refused to say anything, according to Huffington Post. Hmm…
*Bran is going to “spread the word” about what he knows.
Bran learned Jon Snow isn’t Ned Stark’s son in the season 6 finale, and now he’s got this huge piece of information just waiting to be told. “Bran knows he’s been shown this information for a reason, he might not know exactly why, but it’s obviously imperative he knows this and will spread the word,” Isaac Hempstead-Wright said.
*The cast did something pretty risky before heading out to the panel.
Sophie made the cast and crew at the panel do shots of vodka before doing the panel. She’s a little bad girl!
*Jon Snow and Sansa better not get married, according to Sophie.
Sophie brought up that Jon Snow does have a thing for redheads, but that doesn’t mean they’ll get together now that they aren’t technically siblings.
“Jon likes redheads, but Jon and Sansa have grown up together, they’re basically siblings,” she said. Then she warned producers, “If you make anything happen, I will kill you.”
*Season 7 will finish shooting in…
February! It was recently revealed that the show wouldn’t premiere until summer 2017 because they can’t shoot in the summer. “Winter is here, and we’ve got to shoot in places with trees and wait for the leaves to turn,” co-creator David Benioff said.
