It looks like it was way past Barron Trump’s bedtime. Donald Trump’s son looked so bored during his dad’s lengthy speech at the 2016 Republican Convention in Ohio on July 21, he could barely keep his eyes open! See the hilarious pics here!
Barron was SO over his dad at the RNC. The 10-year-old was caught in mid-yawn several times throughout his dad’s elaborate speech. In several pics he seemed to be shifting back and forth in an attempt to get comfortable and wake himself up. And at one point, Barron’s mom, Melania Trump, 46, can be seen staring blankly at her son as he’s caught in yet another yawn. SO funny! Click To See Pics Of Barron Yawning Here.
Not that young Barron shouldn’t have been paying attention to his dad, who was introduced by Ivanka, 34, but we kind of understand his exhaustion. In addition to enduring three days of politics, Trump’s, 70, speech was a record, 75 minutes, one of the longest recorded speeches in recent history! During his speech, the candidate “humbly and gratefully” accepted the presidential nomination and spoke about his journey to that very moment. “Who would’ve believed that when we started this journey on June 16th last year, we, and I say ‘we,’ because we are a team, would have received almost 14 million votes, the most in the history of the Republican party and that the Republican party would get 60 percent more votes than it received eight years ago, who would’ve believed this, who would’ve believed this,” he said.
During his speech, he also blasted the Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, 66. “This is the legacy of Hillary Clinton: death, destruction terrorism and weakness,” he said. “Hillary Clinton’s message is that things will never change. Never ever. My message is that things have to change –- and they have to change right now.”
And he concluded his speech by referring back to his slogan. “I am with you, I will fight for you, and I will win for you. To all Americans tonight in all of our cities and in all of our towns, I make this promise — we will make America strong again. We will make America proud again. We will make America safe again. And we will make America great again,” he said.
Following applause from the crowd, Barron, Melania, Republican Vice President nominee, Mike Pence, 57, and his wife, joined Donald on stage. But it seemed his father’s words had moved him at that point, because Barron looked at little less sleepy as he watched the confetti fall in the arena.
