Surprise, surprise. Donald Trump has been viciously attacking Hillary Clinton throughout his whole campaign, and the final day of the Republican National Convention was no different. He actually blamed her for the horrible attacks of ISIS! Here’s the scoop.
Donald Trump, 70, definitely isn’t trying to be more moderate now that he’s officially gained the GOP nomination. The controversial candidate doubled down on his attacks against Hillary Clinton, and his diss on July 21 at the Republican National Convention was meaner than ever. He actually went so far as to blame Hillary for the appalling attacks ISIS has been committing all over the world.
“America is far less safe – and the world is far less stable – than when Obama made the decision to put Hillary Clinton in charge of America’s foreign policy,” Donald said to the cheers of his constituents. “Her bad instincts and her bad judgment are what caused the disasters unfolding today. Let’s review the record. In 2009, pre-Hillary, ISIS was not even on the map.” Omg, could he be any more harsh?!
“After four years of Hillary Clinton, what do we have? ISIS has spread across the region, and the world,” Donald continues. “Libya is in ruins, and our Ambassador and his staff were left helpless to die at the hands of savage killers. Egypt was turned over to the radical Muslim brotherhood, forcing the military to retake control. Iraq is in chaos. This is the legacy of Hillary Clinton: death, destruction and weakness.”
We can’t say we’re surprised by the appalling diss. Donald has made attacking Hillary a centerpiece of his campaign from the beginning. For month he’s been calling her “Crooked Hillary” whenever he gets the chance, and has made several sexist comments about her. Now his vice presidential nominee has even joined in on the name calling, dubbing Hil the “Secretary of the Status Quo,” during his introductory speech at the Republican National Convention on July 20. We can only assume there’s more to come once the one-on-one debates begin. Sigh.
