Let’s be honest — Luke totally won the hometown date on this season of ‘The Bachelorette,’ but I have a feeling that if she had hesitation after that, he’s not making it to the engagement. So, he should be in line to become the next Bachelor.
JoJo Fletcher has said from the beginning that the chemistry is there with Luke Pell. But the Texas-raised war veteran seemed to be the only one during the hometown dates that was really serious about her — and really serious about spending actual time with people he was actually close with. Sure, he had 50 people there to greet her, but everything’s bigger in Texas, what would you expect? The moral of the story: she’s not going to pick him, in my mind.
That being said, I’m starting a campaign for him to be the next Bachelor. Sure, he was the last to say “the L-word” to JoJo — and that’s what I liked. He wasn’t eager to jump into a full-fledge relationship after a week. It’s clear that for him, family is something that’s more important than anything — also a good sign.
With so much horrible news making headlines in the world, let’s not cast another guy who — for a lack of better word — is a Juan Pablo. Chris Soules was sweet, and real, but his downfall was his refusal to compromise on location. With Luke, it’s clear that for the right woman, he’s willing to do whatever he needs to do.
“Luke is one of my favorite guys this season and has one of the best stories. I am a sucker for people who serve. He is smart, kind, and charming. He is the whole package,” Chris Harrison previously told Yahoo. We all know that if you’ve won over Chris, you’ve won half the battle. He also has pets and posts pics of them on his social media… which is a total sign that he’s a lovable guy.
Overall, he’s just, as Chris said, the complete package — and we all know that that is what a lady is looking for. HollywoodLifers, do you think Luke should be the next Bachelor, if JoJo doesn’t chose him? Let us know!
