He opens the door to Clyde and his parents, Howard and Harold McBride, making them Nickelodeon’s first gay married couple. They hilariously give Lincoln all the things that Clyde needs for a sleepover, including a white noise maker, earplugs, allergy medications humidifier, dehumidifier and more. The show treats the couple just like any other couple. Howard and Harold are overprotective and loving, just like all parents. The Loud House’s is a trailblazing animated show. It’s truly something to smile about.
Howard and Harold McBride will be voiced by Wayne Brady and Michael McDonald, according to our sister site Variety. The episode will air on July 20. This is the network’s first gay couple. The first gay couple on TV was introduced in 1975 on Hot l Baltimore.

@Ieodavinci I feel like they handled that really well. Didn't make it too obvious, let it feel natural and unassuming like a regular family.
