Devastating news, UFC fans! Brock Lesnar failed yet another drug test following the shocking news that he may have violated the anti-doping policy before his stunning win at UFC 200. We have all of the details, right here.
So disappointing! Brock Lesnar’s win at UFC 200 seemed too good to be true, and now it looks like it was. The massive star failed a second drug test on July 9, which was the day of the big fight, TMZ reports. He tested positive for the same substance that he was originally flagged for on June 28. This is just so, so sad, because he had such an amazing story going into the fight.
Brock hadn’t fought in the UFC for five whole years, and when he made his triumphant return and managed to easily destroy competitor Mark Hunt in the ring to win the Heavyweight title, fans lost their minds. Unfortunately, just five days after the big fight, news broke that Brock had failed the drug test a week before the fight. Now we knew he tested for banned substances the day of as well.
Mark was absolutely fuming on July 15, demanding that UFC President Dana White hand over half of Brock’s 2.5 million earnings from the fight or he would quit the UFC! “I’ve told Dana I want half of Brock’s purse,” he wrote on his website. “This is the third time I’ve had to fight a cheater in my career. The other two times I didn’t ask for compensation, but this is the third time and I’m sick of them getting away with cheating. I’ve told Dana that I want a release from the UFC if they don’t sort this out.” Yikes! We’re sure he’s even more mad now that he has more proof.
