Could Miranda be singing about Blake Shelton in this song? After teasing fans on social media, Miranda Lambert’s first single off of her next album has finally arrived. Click inside to listen to ‘Vice’!
“Vice” is really beautiful in a pretty sad way as the 32-year-old singer croons about her own heartache in the new song, singing: “The only thing that I know how to find is another vice.” Hmm.
“When it hurts this good you’ve gotta play it twice. Another vice. All dressed up in a pretty black label, sweet salvation on the dining room table waiting on me. Where the numb meets the lonely,” Miranda sings in the beginning of the song. It’s definitely an emotional ballad that will pull at your heart strings.
Miranda first started teasing that she was up to something on Wednesday, July 13. when she posted a black-and-white photo that showed only a woman’s hand holding a glass. It’s safe to assume the glass is of alcohol, especially since the song is called “Vice.” The next day she posted a second photo of a woman’s hand with a record player, and this time she shared the release date as the caption: July 18.
On Friday, July 15, she finally gave away the song title as the caption to yet another cryptic photo. She wrote, “#VICE,” with the photo showing a woman’s hand resting on a guitar in black-and-white. Could these be shots from Miranda’s upcoming music video for “Vice”? Hopefully! It would definitely be awesome to get a video for this asap!
Miranda is also currently touring the United States as she releases new music. On Saturday, July 23, Miranda will hit up Washington state and then heads off to Ohio, Nebraska, and Illinois. Could she start playing her music as this tour continues? That would be pretty awesome!
