Okay, this is SO cool. For her first-ever ‘Vogue’ cover shoot, Gigi Hadid made a massive leap in some pretty high heels to nail the perfect shot with Olympic decathlete Ashton Eaton. Click inside to watch!
Gigi Hadid, 21, is not your average model. She proved that you don’t necessarily need to be an Olympic athlete to leap over hurdles, especially when you’re rocking a pair of stilettos for your first-ever Vogue magazine cover. This is incredible!
Using a stunt woman is NOT for Gigi Hadid. In her stunning new photo shoot for Vogue, everyone’s favorite new model did her own hard work when it came to getting the perfect shot for legendary photographer, Mario Testino. Plus, she had a little help from 28-year-old Ashton Eaton!
For the shoot, Gigi was asked to leap as if she were crossing a hurdle while running track and field in the Olympics. Gigi didn’t even hesitate at the idea, despite being dressed in a tall pair of heels, a long flowing skirt, and a long-sleeved sweater. A behind-the-scenes video from the shoot shows Ashton giving some pointers on how to nail the perfect form for the leap, and next we see Gigi jumping not once, but twice!
We’re not going to lie: the first time we saw the photo of Gigi leaping beside Ashton, we thought it was some pretty clever photo shoot. Either that, or we assumed she was being held up by strings. But nope! Gigi doesn’t need photo shop, strings, or any of that. Anything an Olympic athlete can do, so can she! Well, let’s not get totally ahead of ourselves with that just yet…
