Kids really do say the darndest things — AND ask the most hard-hitting questions, which Kim Kardashian found out the tough way when she was confronted by a toddler about how she became famous. Talk about awkward!
Kim Kardashian, 35, was TOTALLY grilled by a gutsy child on July 11 when she was asked a series of uncomfortable questions — including how exactly she’d gotten so far in life — yikes! And for those of you who know about Kim and Ray J‘s, 35, infamous sex tape, she couldn’t exactly explain THAT to a toddler. But we do have to give her props for what she DID come up with — just wait until you hear her epic response!
Documenting the cute exchange on her Snapchat, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star had a conversation with the son of a friend, who was VERY curious — and eager — to find out what made Kim famous. “Why are you on magazines?” the little cutie started off with. “Why am I? I dunno, because I like magazines,” the former Vogue cover girl explained.
Come on now, Kim, don’t be modest! And we all know being famous takes a lot more hard work than just “liking” something. Next, the mother-of-two was questioned, “Are you famous?” And again, Kim modestly answered, “Am I famous? I don’t like to use that term.” Well, according to her 76.7 million Instagram followers she is definitely famous! But we can also appreciate her expert response.
But then, the youngster really went for it, and, saving the best for last, he asked what a lot of people today wonder, “How are you famous?” Obviously explaining a sex tape to a little kid was out of the question, so the media pro went with a more philosophical approach. “How am I famous? That’s up for question too,” she replied. Bravo, Kim — way to dodge that awkward question like a total champ!
It was then that the person filming the exchange, who sounded a tad like Khloe Kardashian, 32, broke the tension by declaring, “She’s got a big booty!” Well that’s definitely one thing most people can agree on! And in the end, it doesn’t really matter HOW Kim became such an influential figure. After all, she recently celebrated a major accomplishment — being featured on the cover of Forbes magazine in the “New Mobile Moguls” piece. “#NotBadForAGirlWithNoTalent,” she wrote on Instagram of the cover. Touché Kim, touché.
