Do NOT mess with Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley! The mom-of-two does not want to be told how to parent — and honestly, she doesn’t need to be. The reality star was accused by critics of not putting sunscreen on her newborn and she TOTALLY showed them who’s boss — see her epic reaction here!
Jenni “JWoww” Farley, 30, was accused by multiple social media users of neglecting to apply sunscreen to her 2-month-old son, Greyson Mathews, after she shard an adorable photo of him in a pool with her hubby, Roger Mathews. And while her critics were harsh, the Jersey Shore alum came up with the PERFECT response and totally embarrassed her haters! Way to go, Jenni!
“Not even sure why I am even doing this but I feel like schooling people on my previous post,” JWoww captioned the photo, which was a response to her original post featuring little Greyson in the water. “First off, my son is two months and in a salt water pool up to his belly… Probably for a total of three minutes.”
Then, she redirected the post to address the debate over whether or not she put sunscreen on her baby (hint, she DID).“But second is where I need to really educate trolls…” she said. “Let me explain to the haters that decided to comment about no sunscreen and the dangers bla bla bla. My son actually does have sunscreen on. It’s the same concept as diaper cream. Probably even better than the crap s— you lather your children in.”
And then — here’s the kicker — she told her 4.5 million Instagram followers the exact mix of her DIY baby sunscreen combination that Greyson was wearing in he pic — she even included a photo of it. “Remember assholes, I’m in the tanning industry and pride myself on knowing this. So, here is what I mixed for my son so I know for the 2 minutes he would be safe: Coconut Oil- SPF 4-6 Zinc Oxide SPF 2-20 depending on how much used Carrot Seed Oil – SPF 35-40… Go enjoy your Sunday now.” LOVE it!
And while Jenni’s original post, the one showing her hubby holding their infant in the pool, drew hateful comments such as: “Way to small for a pool,” and “Put sunscreen on that child,” her retaliation post had a much kinder response. “HUGE PROPS that you are using such natural ingredients on your baby to protect him from the sun,” one commenter wrote. Another gushed, “Your a amazing mom screw the trolls #yourkidsyourway.” You tell em, Jenni!
What do you think of JWoww’s epic reaction to her haters, HollywoodLifers? Was she totally on point or did she go overboard?
