And that’s a wrap, folks. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have now BOTH agreed to end their marriage, as the former NBA star finally filed his own divorce documents, TMZ claims. To find out when they split will be official, keep reading.
Lamar Odom has finally filed his response to Khloe Kardashian‘s divorce documents, a new report claims, which means their marriage will be over as soon as judge signs off on it. Find out all the details here!
This new development was first reported by TMZ, and the site also claims Khloe and Lamar’s breakup will be pretty clean. In the docs, which were obtained by TMZ Sports, Lamar listed the same date of separation as Khloe did — December 13, 2013. Plus, they have a prenup, so everything was already agreed upon. They’ll even pay for their own attorneys, TMZ notes.
Now, it’s just a matter of time before the judge signs off on the divorce. Typically, it happens six months after filing.
As we previously reported, Khloe and Lamar married in September 2009, after a month of dating. Divorce papers were finally signed by both parties in July 2015. But before a judge could sign off on it, Khloe dismissed the divorce in October 2015, following Lamar’s drug overdose. She wanted to be able to make his medical decisions, but now that he’s healthy again, she refiled in May 2016.
It’s certainly sad, but this divorce has been a long time coming. We’re happy Khloe and Lamar will finally be able to move on with their lives.
