She’ll never let go! Celine Dion, who sang ‘My Heart Will Go On,’ gave us all the feels when she was spotted wearing a pricey sweatshirt from the 1997 tear-jerker ‘Titanic.’ See her epic throwback ensemble, right here!
Celine Dion, 48, is representing fall-back Friday to the fullest by rocking a Titanic sweatshirt during Paris Couture week on July 8. For those who may have forgotten, she sang the touching ballad “My Heart Will Go On” nearly two decades ago for the 1997 high-grossing film. The songstress looked absolutely stunning while showing off her comfortable, yet costly attire.
The baggy cover-up was the ultimate style statement: featuring the youthful heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio, 41, who played Jack, and his red-headed beauty Kate Winslet, 40, as Rose, in a warm embrace alongside the capsized ship. Celine wore the $885 sweatshirt from Vetements, (a celebrity go-to place for trendy high-quality clothing), and now it’s sold out! She paired it with blue Saint Laurent jeans and golden peep-toe Gucci stilettos. The singer styled her golden locks in a beach wave and also covered her eyes in a pair of aviator shades. Yas, queen! Celine must have been feeling nostalgic and her stylist Law Roach, even coined her look: “legendary.”
It’s great to see the “New Day” songstress in high spirits, considering she’s had to go through many trials and tribulations over the last year. Celine’s husband Rene Angelil tragically passed away on Jan. 14, 2016 from cancer, leaving behind their three children René-Charles Angelil, Nelson Angelil, and Eddy Angelil.
The songstress continues to put on absolutely jaw-dropping shows. Celine put on a dynamic performance of her new single “The Show Must Go On” and also was recently honored with the ICON Award at this 2016 Billboard Music Awards. Her song embodied Rene’s life philosophy — so there’s no question she was paying homage to her late husband.
Her Las Vegas residency, held in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace continues to sell out and we see why! Her new 2017 performances, consisting of 12 new shows, are already scheduled Jan. 17 through Feb. 4. Hopefully she will sing her hit single “My Heart Will Go On,” considering she used to perform the number on the front of the ship — just like the iconic scene between Rose and Jack. After a year hiatus from the stage, Celine made her momentous return on Aug. 2015.
