Where and when is UFC 200?
The biggest extravaganza in MMA history will take place from the T-Mobile Arena in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada on July 9. Now, the main card will take place at 10:00 PM EST, but the UFC 200 preliminary card will begin at 5:00 PM ET. Fight fans have a full night of wild action ahead of them.
How To Watch UFC 200.
The first right of preliminary fights will take place at 5:00 PM ET on UFC Fight Pass. At 8:00 PM ET, Fox Sports 1 will broadcast the next round of opening fights. Who’s Fighting At UFC 200?
Right now, a trio of lower weight class bouts will kick off UFC 200. Jim Miller, 32, will fight Takanori Gomi, 37, in a lightweight fight, while Gegard Mousasi, 30, will face Thiago Santos, 32, and Diego Sanchez, 34, fights Joe Lauzon, 32.
In the second round of prelims, Sage Northcut, 20, goes toe-to-toe with Enrique Marin, 29. T.J. Dillashaw, 30, and Raphael Assuncao, 33, will fight in a bantamweight match, while the card’s sole welterweight fight will feature Johny Hendricks, 32, versus Kelvin Gastelum, 24. The highlight of the preliminary card is definitely the Women’s bantamweight match between Cat Zingano, 34, and Julianna Pena, 26. After Cat tapped out to Ronda Rousey, 29 in 14 seconds at UFC 184, she’s out to avenge her only MMA loss.
What Is The UFC 200 main Event?
Brock’s fight against Mark will close out the night. However, It wasn’t supposed to be that way but UFC 200’s main card had a huge lineup change at the last minute. The main event was supposed to be Daniel Cormier, 37, versus Jon Jones, 28, in a unification of the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. Then, on July 6, Jon was pulled from the event due to an anti-doping violation.
Along with Miesha’s defense against Amanda, Jose Aldo, 29, will fight Frankie Edgar, 34, in an Interim featherweight title match, since Conor McGregor’s, 27, “retirement” shenanigans prevented him from fighting at UFC 200. Ronda’s boyfriend, Travis Browne, 33, will take on Cain Velasquez, 33, in a huge heavyweight match.
