You don’t want to injure yourself before Rio! Simone Biles, 19, America’s top hope for gold at the upcoming Olympics beginning August 5 was the guest of honor at Minute Maid Park for the Houston Astros July 4 baseball game. And boy, was she hoping to impress the crowd with her impressive gymnastic skills! Click down to watch what she does!
Now, if you’ve got it, we say flaunt it. And Simone is no stranger to showing off her expert talents, especially when it comes to performing in front of a huge crowd. That’s what turned up to see Houston Astros square off against the Seattle Mariners in the American League West, and they certainly got their money’s worth!
As she walked to the pitcher’s mound, you could already tell Simone had something up her sleeve as she walked confidently to the spot to a warm reception. She took her standing position, and before throwing the first pitch completed, what is known in the business, as a side aerial before launching the baseball. Impressive stuff!

We can’t ever remember seeing someone provide that much of a spectacle before throwing a first pitch before, and she got a massive gasp from the crowd who clapped after Simone’s star turn.
Also, with the Olympics are the corner, she seems to be great spirits before the pressure of competition begins. We’ll be cheering Simone on from the offset!
