Poor Brad Pitt spent Father’s Day without his children or his wife, and there may be a sinister reason for that. Angelina Jolie is ready for a divorce, according to a new report!

While Brad Pitt, 52, spent Father’s Day, June 19, attending the Le Mans 24-Hour race in France, his family was overseas in the United States. Sure, dad was having some fun, but wife Angelina Jolie, 41, allegedly had ulterior motives for keeping everyone apart. She allegedly wants to divorce her husband, according to a new report from Star magazine, and she wants to do it as soon as possible!

“Angie is ready to divorce Brad. She’s fed up with what her life has become and wants to make a change,” a source told Star magazine. She’s apparently wasting no time in making that happen! While she was in NYC on Father’s Day with kids Maddox, 14, and Knox, 7, seeing Hamilton, she was allegedly visiting a divorce lawyer in Los Angeles on June 21.

Angelina reportedly told Brad what she was doing, and he hopped on a flight to Los Angeles as soon as possible, according to the source. “He was blindsides, but he’ll meet with his lawyer to discuss his options regarding custody and protecting his earning. The divorce is bound to get ugly,” the source told the mag.

Wow! Custody arrangements and money? This is really getting serious! This is such sad news, especially because it doesn’t seem from the source’s info that there are any terrible problems between the couple; they’ve simply just grown apart during their 10-year relationship. We’re bummed, because we love this couple and their six adorable kids!

“Despite their longstanding issues, Brad and Angie truly thought that getting married would bring them closer together,” the source said. “The kids pressured them [to get married], and it seemed like the right decision at the time. But now the situation is a mess. The tension is constant and it’s taking a heavy toll on them. They’ve hung on for 10 years, but right now there’s very little light at the end of the tunnel.”
