Now that villain Chad Johnson is gone, has frontrunner Jordan Rodgers become the most hated man in the house on ‘The Bachelorette’? Well, JoJo definitely confronted him over some sort of ‘altercation’ on the June 27 episode. Read our recap here!
This week, everyone was in Beunos Aires, Argentina! Host Chris Harrison told the guys there would be a group date, a 1-on-1 date and for the first time ever — a second 2-on-1 date. That reveal scared the crap out of the guys.
Wells was the lucky guy who got the 1-on-1 date this week! And after he got the invite, he told all the guys he’s the only one left who hasn’t kissed JoJo. So when JoJo came to pick Wells up, Luke asked if they were going to finally “kiss.” Awkward! Talk about pressure.
Luckily, Wells laid on the charm during their date. He even bought JoJo a cute bracelet at a cute shop they stopped at. Later, they went to a place where people put on performance art shows involving water. Wells missed one opportunity to kiss JoJo, but he later managed to get a kiss on the cheek. However, when they got into the water themselves, Wells took advantage of the moment and laid a big wet one on JoJo’s lips. Afterwards, she yelled, “that was the moment!”
During their dinner date, JoJo asked Wells about his ex, and he started sweating. He said he dated the girl for four years and it ended because he realized they were just best friends — the romance wasn’t there. Unfortunately, that conversation triggered a light in JoJo’s brain — she also didn’t feel the romance with Wells, so she chose not to give him the rose and sent him home.
When the group date card came, Luke, Robby, Jordan, James, Alex‘s names were called, which means Derek and Chase were positioned to go on the 2-on-1 date.
During the group date, the guys and JoJo played soccer with the locals. Everyone missed out on scoring a goal, except for James, so he got a kiss from JoJo. Later that night, Luke was the first one to whisk JoJo away for a chat. He told her he’s having such a great time with her and then they kissed. And by kiss, we mean they literally had an intense make out session — they barely took their lips off each other.
When it was James Taylor’s turn to spend time with JoJo, he took the opportunity to spill some tea. He brought up Jordan’s name and said he had seen a side of Jordan he never saw before. Apparently, Jordan got controlling during a game of cards. James said Jordan comes across as very “entitled.” Then, when she thanked him for telling her, he asked JoJo if he could kiss her.
Immediately after their meeting, JoJo went and asked Jordan if she could talk to him. She asked him if he ever acts “entitled” with the guys, but he said no. Then, he stroked JoJo’s hair.
When Jordan returned to the guys, he confronted James and asked why his name was brought up in conversation. James seemed nervous and really couldn’t get an answer out. It was so awkward. Then, when JoJo returned, it got even worse. She said she felt “awkward.” (So did we.)
For the 2-on-1 date, JoJo, Chase and Derek took some dancing lessons. She kept getting thrown from man to man, and the tension was high. Later during their dinner date, Derek told JoJo he’s absolutely falling for her. She said thank you and then, they kissed. For her, it was a sign that he’s ready for something real. Chase then said he’s starting to “feel things” for JoJo. But she told him she’s not feeling it, which scares her. And surprisingly, Chase said he’s “scared” to feel “so committed” to JoJo with so many guys involved in the process. But he said he came here for a reason and that reason is JoJo, which is what she liked to hear. Then, they kissed.
In the end, JoJo gave Chase the rose, but we’re not sure why. Maybe because he played hard to get? Poor Derek.
During the cocktail party, Jordan whisked JoJo away and he earned her trust back with some sweet talk and sexy kisses. And at the actual rose ceremony, JoJo gaves roses to Robby and Jordan. Luke and Chase already had them from previous dates, so that left Alex and James vying for the final rose. But before she could give it out, JoJo panicked. She said, “I’m sorry” and ran out. She told Chris, “I don’t know what I’m doing. I feel so sick to my stomach. I don’t want to give this rose out.” When she returned, Chris brought in TWO roses because she didn’t want to let either James or Alex go just yet. So now, JoJo has six “incredible men” left (her words, not ours).
