Kanye West just got a presidential-sized diss! George W. Bush slammed his depiction in Kanye’s ‘Famous’ video, saying everyone really prefers the real thing. Click through for his funny comments!
Noted Kanye West enemy, former president George W. Bush, was a little disappointed at his naked lookalike in the new “Famous” music video. No, he’s not mad that he was included in the controversial video; he’s just upset that the artist didn’t do his body justice!
“In case there was any doubt … that is not President Bush,” Dubya’s rep told TMZ, relaying a statement from the former prez. “He is in much better shape.” Oh my god. Such shade. Whatever your feelings about the controversial 43rd president, you have to admit that’s a pretty hilarious response to the video.
So it looks like Kanye doesn’t have to worry about President Bush suing him for depicting his likeness in the music video! He may just get a strongly-worded letter detailing his workout routine in case he wants to include him in anything else! Kanye’s (fake!) “Famous” orgy featured people who were all connected to him in some way, some of them contentiously.
Now you may recall that Kanye and Dubya aren’t on the best of terms. Back in September 2005, Kanye appeared on a star-studded benefit special to raise money in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. During a live broadcast, he went off script and stated “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” Oh boy. They’ve been forever linked since that iconic moment. It makes sense that he’s in the “Famous” video!
President Bush dissed Kanye back in October 2015, ten years later. While signing autographs in Washington, DC, he was asked what he thought about Kanye running for president in 2020. He didn’t even answer — he just laughed and walked away. That says it all!
HollywoodLifers, are you shocked that President Bush was okay with “being” in Kanye’s video? Tell us in the comments!
