Kanye West is taking his bad blood with Taylor Swift to the next level. Ye’s dropping the video for his controversial song, ‘Famous,’ at a June 24 event – and he’s even going to live stream it! Uh-oh. Is he going to trash Taylor some more?
Of all the words that come out of Kanye West’s, 39, mouth, “subtlety” is not usally one of them. For instance — when other rappers release a music video, they just drop it online. Not Yeezy. For the video for his song that infamously called Taylor Swift, 26, a “b*tch,” Yeezy has decided to throw a huge release party in a giant arena!
Kanye will debut the music video for “Famous” during an event at The Forum in Los Angeles, California on June 24, according to E! News. Tickets are on sale for $25 at Ticketmaster.com. This super-sized version of “G.O.O.D. Friday” will also be live-streamed on Tidal for both customers and non-customers, meaning everyone can see it! It’s safe to say Taylor won’t attend this event, as the song is the one where Ye raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.”
Uh-oh. Will this extravaganza turn into a Taylor Swift slam-fest? Yeezy is reportedly planning an “epic takedown” of Taylor after she dissed his wife, Kim Kardashian, 35. Kim joined her husband in trashing Taylor, saying the “Blank Space” singer knew about the “Famous” lyrics all along! “She totally approved that,” Kim told GQ. “She totally knew that [the song] was coming out.” She even says both she and Kanye have video proof that Taylor gave her approval!
“A song cannot be approved if it was never heard,” Taylor’s rep said in response to these allegations, calling Kim a liar who only repeats what Ye tells her. “Kanye never told Taylor he was going to use the term ‘that bitch’ in referencing her.” Taylor’s rep continued to say that she didn’t get an advance copy of “Famous” and that she heard it for the first time when he played it during Yeezy Season 3’s debut.
Will this “Famous” music video debut also be the first time Yeezy plays his reported anti-Taylor track? Well, Taylor may upstage Kanye and drop her own musical slam, as she reportedly has a diss track of her own ready to go. After this latest clash, Tay’s been “inspired to write some harsh lyrics” about Kim and Kanye. So, will she steal his spotlight and share this song ahead of his video’s debut?
Are you going to watch Kanye’s “Famous” music video event, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Kanye will also drag Taylor during this extravaganza?
