What a comeback! Less than a month after his release from prison, Gucci Mane already has big plans to hit the stage again — and he has a massive homecoming concert scheduled for later this summer. Get the scoop on ‘Gucci Mane & Friends’ right here!
Gucci Mane, 36, is pouring himself into work after being released from prison on May 26! Even though the rapper has been recording music during his time in custody, he’s wasted no time taking things to the next level now that he’s out. He already has a concert in Atlanta scheduled for later this summer, too!
The show, called ‘Gucci Mane and Friends’ will be going down at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on July 22 at 8:00 pm. So far, the 36-year-old hasn’t released any of the artists who will be joining him, but considering he’s worked with rappers like Kanye West, Drake and more, we can expect there’ll probably be some big names on the lineup.
Gucci was sentenced to 39 months in prison back in Aug. 2014 after pleading guilty to being in possession of a firearm. The incident went down in Sept. 2013, and he had been kept in custody for those 11 months, so he was set to have 28 more months to serve at the time of his sentencing. However, he was released four months early in May.
The day after his exit from behind bars, Gucci dropped the track “First Day Out The Feds,” which was produced by Mike Will Made It. Fans were immediately hooked, and he kept up the hype by appearing on Yeezy’s “Cruel Winter,” released on June 3.
Tickets for ‘Gucci Mane and Friends’ will be available beginning June 24 at 10:00 am ET, although there will be a presale starting one day earlier. You can get more info on where and how to buy yours RIGHT HERE.
