We can’t stop laughing at this! Jamie Foxx goes into full-on Dad mode by parodying Future’s hit, ‘F–k Up Some Commas.’ Click here to watch him get down old-man style.
Say hello to “Past,” HollywoodLifers! The new Jamie Foxx alter-ego, (a.k.a. Future’s, 32, Father) is here, and he’s got Verizon. The new advert aired last night on June 19th during Game 7 of the NBA finals and has had us in stitches since. Click here to watch Jamie Foxx kill it as a senior citizen!
The 48 year old triple-threat shows off his talents and humor geriatric style in the commercial while donning an old-fashioned, peach colored suit, a cane, and grey-dreads. “They call me the Past, my son is Future. I taught that boy everything,” he raps before bursting into praises for Verizon over the “F–k Up Some Commas” backtrack. He also hits the dab, twerks, and does what could be construed as a sashay? Questionable, but hilarious nonetheless.
Jamie still manages to look like a pretty dapper grandpa, however, contributing a decent clap-back to Sprint AND AT&T since the war of the wireless networks began. Though using Verizon’s ex-spokesman to speak against them was a pretty fire move on Sprint’s part, it’s hard to top a celebrity cameo, and a hilarious one at that.
Verizon also provided some extra burnage by calling out their competitors via Twitter, tagging them in the commercial and bringing in some undeniable statistics, just incase they hadn’t gotten the memo yet. Even Jamie himself get involved in the feud, challenging the other networks to “learn from someone whose been around the block.” Ouch! With all the major network drama, we can’t help but wonder if T-Mobile feels a little left out.
HollywoodLifers, how do you think that this mobile network showdown is going to pan out?
