Well, that’s one way to take care of the problem! Stephen Curry is threatening to go to extreme lengths to stop a repeat of wife Ayesha’s Twitter rant. The Golden State Warriors star is thinking of cutting off his Wi-Fi before game 7 of the NBA Finals, just so she doesn’t blow a gasket online again!
It’s certainly a solution! Stephen Curry, 28, is planning on doing anything in his power to silence Ayesha Curry, 27, even if that means cutting his own Wi-Fi! The Golden State Warriors star doesn’t want a repeat of his wife’s Twitter outburst when she slammed officials for what she perceived as bad calls against the Warriors in game 6 of the NBA Finals against Cleveland Cavaliers on June 16.
GSW fans were stunned when Ayesha went into a Twitter meltdown after the game, calling out officials for poor decisions that she felt cost her man’s team. She didn’t hold back either, claiming that the NBA was rigged, which is why we now have a game 7 coming up on June 19 after the Cavs tied the series. Interestingly enough, Steph was ejected for the first time in his career in a game the Warriors will want to forget fast.
But speaking before the big game in a packed press conference, Steph played it cool when he was asked how he was going to deal with his wife’s opinions before the big finale. “I might have to cut the Wi-Fi off at my house,” Steph joked as reporters laughed around him.
When he was asked if he had discussed it with his wife, Steph answered absolutely beautifully. “That’s between me and Ayesha the conversation about what happened,” the NBA MVP continued. “That’s going to be handled.”
What could Steph possibly say to Ayesha? After all, she was only defending his honor and, in a way, she was right because some of those calls were bogus!
