Kate Middleton’s Royal Ascot dress totally stole the show as she stepped out in a lovely lace Dolce & Gabbana frock — and this actually wasn’t the first time she rocked the high-fashion ensemble!
Her dress is so nice she wore it twice! Kate Middleton, 34, looked perfectly put together as she arrived at the Royal Ascot on June 15, marking her very first appearance at the event, as she opted for a lovely white Dolce & Gabbana frock for the occasion. She accessorized with a Jane Taylor hat which featured a cream rose and two feathers. A gold clutch and nude pumps polished off her outfit, but our favorite part of the look had to be her name tag which read: “HRH The Duchess of Cambridge.”
While Kate’s style is always so classic and chic, lace is actually one of the biggest trends of the season — and we love the way she put her signature spin on the style! The long-sleeved ensemble features a pleated skirt and hit mid-calf — an elegant choice for the outing. The event is all about modest, elegant style and Kate’s dress totally stole the show — it looked like it was made for the special day.
Kate first showed off the dress a month earlier as she celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday, where she wore a red coat over the ensemble — it was hard to tell she even had the ensemble on underneath her outerwear. Since the first time around she had to cover up due to the weather, we’re so glad that Kate’s dress finally got the chance to shine — and it totally stole the spotlight.
We’re seeing lovely lace looks everywhere — and you can easily recreate the look without the hefty price tag thanks to the Persun Deep V-neck Crochet Lace Overlay Dress, which you can SHOP for $21.
